Productivity is one of the major concerns for the employers who hire freelancers to work remotely. Billing for extra hours and wasting time during working hours are just some of the many issues which constantly worry the employers.
Ztracker app has been developed to cater to these concerns and ensure optimum productivity of freelancers who work remotely for you. When you hire freelancers on Amzvas, Ztracker app would ensure that the freelancers are billing you for only the amount of time they work on your project.
Ztracker app does this by allowing you to access the screenshots of the freelancer’s laptop/computer screen that are taken at random time intervals. This allows you to check if the freelancer is dedicating the time to your project or doing something else.
This app also records the mouse activity and click rate of the mouse being used by the freelancer. These two factors are equally important when it comes to ensuring work efficiency and productivity of the hired freelancers.
How does the Ztracker app work?
1. Once you hire a freelancer for a project, you need to download the Ztracker app on your system.
2. The freelancer needs to download the app and agree to the terms and conditions and then proceed to set up the app.
3. As soon as the above steps are followed, the app starts taking screenshots of the freelancer’s computer screen at random durations and shows it to the employer.
4. Even the mouse click rate and activity is recorded and available for access by the employer.
5. Before paying the freelancer, he can use this data collected to ensure that the freelancer is quoting the price only for the total number of hours worked.
Your privacy is imperative to us. Amzvas has developed this Privacy Statement to describe our practices of collecting and managing your information. We only collect and use your information through means allowed by law.
What information do we collect?
Screenshots (Full Screen)
Amount of keystrokes and mouse clicks
Information collected by the web and desktop application can include: the names of tasks to be worked on, the amount of time worked on tasks, time spent on breaks, time of starting work, time finishing work, names of applications used on your computer, websites visited, screenshots of your computer screen, project categories of tasks you visit. We may record mouse movements of you using the web application.
The screenshots and the amount of your work activity will be visible to you and anyone who manages you on a particular project, to the owner of the project and to the client. Your IP address, time zone, device name and the OS type you are using will be visible in the screenshot details. That information will be shown to you and anyone who manages your project is the owner or the client of that particular project.
The owner of your project can turn off the screenshot option, in which case your screen activity, mouse clicks and keystroke number will not be available to anyone. Please note that Ztracker tracks your screen and activity only when you start the desktop application.
Note also that we only collect this data for providing you a service and we are obligated not to share the above mentioned information with anyone who is not your manager, owner of the particular project or the client.
Please note that you are providing your information to Ztracker to receive the service. We affirm that we are not going to rent or sell any of your information or data we own.
We may also record what pages of our website you visit, how much time you spend on each page, what activity you perform in order to be able to evaluate our website’s efficiency. We use your Personal Information only for providing you with service and improving our website. By using Ztracker you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
